Do ya'll remember my first blog post? If you do by pure chance, then you will be aware that since I have prescription glasses, I don't have a mask of my own. Until now. A couple of weeks ago, when I went airsofting last month, the guy running the place said that since I'm a routine player who comes, that I should get my own masks to save money in rent fees.
(Do I look intimidating? Well I should.)
I put it off for awhile since there's not a Paintball/Airsoft store in the local Mid-Michigan area. On top of that, there's always the high probability of it not fitting. Thankfully, the guys at KA recommended me to this company called JT Paintball. Which happened to be the same company that they've bought from.
So I placed my order in and started waiting...until I got an email that the website couldn't process my order due to some kind of info error. It turns out that I simply didn't had enough money in my account. But I had a significant amount of money in my savings account, so I transferred the majority of my funds back to my debit account, sent my order again, and the problem was solved.
The story didn't end there. When I received it and tried it on, the mask wouldn't fit. I panic and feared that my order was a dud. Once we made some modifications to it, the mask was able to fit!! I suppose the moral of the story is that you shouldn't call it quits on the first try. If there's any moral lesson to be learned here.
